Christine's Continental Getaway

After six years of living with various types of cancers, Christine Appleton passed away on December 14, 2022. She is survived by her husband Bryan, daughter Keira, and son Isaac. 

 

Bryan has said so many nice things about Christine but one thing really stood out to us: "Christine really wanted to make one last trip with us to celebrate life and create fun memories. Unfortunately, we will have to take her spirit with us...and she is with us!...the kids said we should spread her ashes on every continent.  I agree with them that this is something that Christine would love. So that is our (long-term) plan."

 

Bryan was Christine's primary caregiver during her illness and we know that this trip will provide the beautiful Appleton Family some emotional healing, respite, and the opportunity to honor and celebrate Christine's feisty, adventure-seeking spirit.

As part of our caregiver and family support program, the WB Foundation is partnering with a generous travel agent (www.thisgirljen.com) to honor Christine's wish by giving Bryan, Keira, and Isaac a dream vacation that she would love.

Details of their vacation will be shared once finalized. 100% of funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Christine's dream vacation.
